It is not uncommon for the job hunter to mistakenly assume that the potential employer is easily able to sort the highly qualified from the less qualified job applicants. When you consider that you will be competing with hundreds, possibly thousands of other job seekers, you will appreciate that your chances of being successful are significantly reduced. Then when you take into account that your potential employer is likely to have a ‘screening‘ process in which the goal is to reject as many applicants as possible before actually looking to see who might be suitable, you are sure to realise that you really do need to do something that makes you stand out.
Are you serious about getting a better job? Do you keep losing out to people that probably aren‘t as qualified as you? These days it‘s not so much about who is best suited to the role, it‘s more about who is best prepared for the interview process. This also includes being ready and able to communicate their value and worth during the interview. This is one of the most critical and yet highly overlooked pieces of job seeking skills. If you don‘t have this skill, and one of your competitors does, you could easily lose out, even you are better suited to the job. This is even more likely if their resume is professionally produced and formatted.
I am going to assume that you are now asking yourself, what are targeted key words and where and how do I use them? There are two trains of thought over the portion of a resume called the Career Objective. Some resume writers and consultants feel it is necessary and some say not. In my opinion and experience, adding a career objective section at the beginning of a resume is very important. This is where you can place targeted key words that will help to get you through to the next level, the interview. If these keywords are not found in a quick scan of your resume than your resume goes directly to jail and does not pass go. In other words, no interview for you!
Nowadays taking help from resume writing services is unavoidable because if there is even one grammatical or typographical mistake in the resume, employers don‘t qualify such resumes. In view of the fact that employers daily receive loads of resumes and so as to be able to get selected it is fairly important that that resume must be prominent over other, which can only be attained through resume composing companies.
However, many of the professionals I know who are in the business of certifying individuals are frequently right on the money. Though certifications are certainly helpful in your decision making process, you cannot automatically discount a service that does not boast any. Most certifications require payment in order to take a test or complete a course and there are many qualified, talented professionals who do not feel the need for investing money just to prove what they already know - that they‘re skilled in what they do and have proven their mettle over the years, gaining more knowledge and hands-on experience than any certification could demonstrate.

First of all, the better your resume, the more opportunities you will receive...and there is no way a writer can ”throw something together” without taking the time to learn a great deal about you! If a service promises overnight work, you have to ask yourself why? If they are that readily available, then they aren‘t a very busy practice - probably for a reason. Most quality services offer a several day turnaround time and the writer typically spends several hours on each project. A quality, working resume can‘t be rushed if it‘s done right (and beware of any service who can ”fit you in” in a day. Good writers are busy for a reason).
